Study of large woody plants using pulsed tomography

Large trees and plants require periodic inspection. Visually, the plant may look healthy, but have heart rot and other types of damage. Under critical load conditions (strong wind, heavy snowfall), the trunk breaks and when the tree falls, it can damage buildings, nearby cars and even cause human death. Therefore, it is very important to identify damaged (diseased) trees in a timely manner, which is impossible without the necessary equipment.

The program also provides the ability to obtain the percentage of damaged and healthy areas based on color gradations. The program automatically summarizes the color scales and calculates its percentage. It is also possible to determine the direction of tree fall, depending on which part has the highest degree of damage. The location of damaged areas in a plant can determine its viability.
